Placements24 is partnering with a progressive non-profit focused on environmental conservation to recruit a remote Grant Writer and Development Specialist. The role emphasizes securing funding through grant proposals and reports, with autonomy and strong research to identify opportunities worldwide.

You will craft persuasive narratives, coordinate with program staff, manage the full grant lifecycle, and cultivate foundation relationships. A 3–5 year track record in grant writing is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of proven grant writing experience in conservation.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading for persuasive proposals.
• Strong research to identify funders and priorities.
• Experience with grant management software.
• Excellent organization and remote work discipline.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, English, Communications, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Research and evaluate potential grant opportunities from foundations and agencies.
• Write, edit, and submit high-quality grant proposals and reports.
• Develop narratives detailing goals, methods, budgets, and outcomes.
• Coordinate with program staff to align proposals with objectives.
• Manage the grant lifecycle from research to submission and follow-up.
• Cultivate relationships with funders and program officers.
