Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator for its globally remote team. You will manage procurement, inventory, warehousing and transport, optimizing flows across international networks and vendors from your home office.

You will leverage ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and analytics to forecast demand, negotiate rates, monitor performance, and ensure compliance, while collaborating with partners worldwide in a fast-paced remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in supply chain, logistics or operations management.
• Proven experience with international logistics and freight forwarding.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and demand forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of the supply chain including procurement, inventory, warehousing and transport.
• Develop and implement cost-efficient logistics strategies to improve delivery times.
• Liaise with suppliers, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimise stock.
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
• Use SCM software and analytics to identify improvements.
• Negotiate rates and contracts with providers and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade laws.
• Build relationships with key supply chain partners and generate performance reports.
