Placements24 is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to lead international logistics remotely from a multinational base. The role requires strategic thinking, over 8 years in global supply chain roles, and a track record of managing diverse, remote teams across regions.

The successful candidate will drive global trade compliance, supplier relationships, and end-to-end supply chain optimization, while shaping resilient, cost-efficient operations with a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in SCM, Logistics, International Business or related field.
• 8+ years in global supply chain management and international logistics.
• Deep knowledge of global trade, customs, freight forwarding, and optimization.
• Proven leadership of remote, diverse teams.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience with SCM software, ERP systems and data analytics tools.
• Risk management and business continuity planning in a global context.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global supply chain strategies aligned with business goals.
• Oversee international logistics including freight, customs and trade regulations.
• Manage relationships with global suppliers, carriers and 3PLs; negotiate favorable terms.
• Implement inventory management to optimize stock levels and minimize costs globally.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead and mentor dispersed SCM teams to drive high performance.
• Develop contingency plans for disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Ensure compliance with international trade laws and safety standards.
• Drive innovation in supply chain practices and explore new tech and methods.
