Placements24 is seeking a Remote Information Security Operations Lead to guide a global, remote SOC. You will drive threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring across time zones, leading a distributed team to protect digital assets.

In this strategic role, you will implement SIEM/SOAR/EDR platforms, develop incident playbooks, and collaborate with IT, Legal, and Compliance. Strong leadership and cloud security experience are required, with CISSP/CISM or similar preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in information security with leadership in SOC environments.
• Proven remote or distributed team management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR/EDR and cloud security.
• Certifications such as CISSP/CISM are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global, remote SOC with 24/7 monitoring and response.
• Develop threat detection, incident response, and event management strategies.
• Oversee deployment and optimization of SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and related tools.
• Create playbooks and documentation; report security performance to leadership.
• Mentor SOC staff and coordinate with IT, Legal and Compliance.
