Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Remote Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to lead global SOC operations and a distributed team of security analysts. The role focuses on building and optimizing SOC processes, threat detection, and incident response for a 24/7 operation in a remote-first environment.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in cybersecurity operations, leadership experience in SOC, and strong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR, threat intelligence, and incident response frameworks.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in SOC operations and global teams.
• Experience designing, building, or managing SOC operations.
• Deep knowledge of security monitoring technologies and incident response frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a global team of SOC analysts, ensuring high performance and development.
• Develop and refine SOC strategies, processes, and procedures.
• Oversee daily SOC operations: monitoring, detection, analysis, and incident response.
• Manage and optimize SIEM/SOAR and other SOC technologies.
• Create and maintain incident response playbooks and execute during incidents.
• Integrate threat intelligence into SOC operations for proactive defense.
• Report KPIs and SLAs for SOC performance.
• Collaborate with security teams to maintain cohesive security posture.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Manage SOC budget and resources.
