Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Global Logistics Planner to join their completely remote team. You will design, implement, and optimize the international logistics network, analyze complex data, and collaborate with global partners to ensure timely, cost-efficient deliveries.

The role requires 5–7 years in global logistics, strong analytical skills, knowledge of Incoterms, and experience with ERP/WMS/TMS systems. A Master's degree is highly preferred for this senior position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; master's preferred.
• 5–7 years in global logistics planning or transportation management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data modeling experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Incoterms and global trade regulations.
• Experience with ERP, WMS and TMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global logistics plans optimizing cost, time, reliability.
• Analyze data to forecast demand and optimize inventory across international hubs.
• Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams.
• Evaluate transportation modes and routes for international shipments.
• Monitor shipments and resolve disruptions; report updates to stakeholders.
• Reduce logistics costs while maintaining service levels.
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping docs.
• Model scenarios using planning software to optimize networks.
• Align logistics with product development and manufacturing needs.
• Review performance of logistics partners and identify improvements.
