Placements24 is seeking a Senior Logistics Operations Manager to lead our remote logistics architecture and drive efficiency across global networks. You will steer end-to-end supply chain functions, implement advanced systems, and mentor dispersed teams.

The role demands 8+ years in logistics, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of international shipping, WMS, SAP/Oracle; remote-ready. A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment will excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management.
Experience with global shipping, freight forwarding, customs procedures, and WMS.
Proven ability to manage remote teams in a virtual environment.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan Associates).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement logistics strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across operations.
Oversee end-to-end supply chain including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.
Lead a geographically dispersed team; provide mentorship and performance management.
Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvements; implement data-driven solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and suppliers; negotiate favorable terms.
Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs, and safety standards.
Collaborate with sales, operations, and finance to align logistics with business goals.
Implement and manage advanced logistics technologies to improve visibility.
Monitor KPIs and report performance to senior management.
Drive continuous improvement and promote operational excellence.
