Placements24 is seeking a Remote Logistics Coordinator to join a global e-commerce logistics team. You will coordinate shipments, track inventory, and ensure smooth cross-border operations from a home office, ideally near Centurion.

The role requires independence, strong organizational skills, and experience with logistics software. You will liaise with carriers and customs brokers, maintain compliance, and seek process improvements in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, SCM, or related field.
• 4+ years in logistics coordination with international exposure.
• Experience with TMS, WMS, and ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of incoterms and customs regulations.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics on a global scale.
• Track shipments in real time using logistics software.
• Liaise with carriers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers.
• Manage inventory across distribution centers.
• Resolve delays, customs holds, or damaged goods proactively.
• Prepare shipping documents like Bills of Lading and invoices.
• Analyze logistics data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations.
• Contribute to continuous process improvements.
