Placements24 is seeking a Remote Dispatch Coordinator to manage international freight shipments from a home office. This role requires strong coordination with global carriers, accurate documentation, and proactive problem-solving to ensure on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.

You will utilize TMS and standard office suites in a fully remote setting, collaborating with sales, customs, and operations to optimize the supply chain across borders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of freight dispatch or logistics coordination experience.
• Experience managing international shipments is essential.
• Proficient with global logistics software and TMS.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills for remote work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with international partners.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
• Reliable internet and dedicated home office setup.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule international freight shipments via air, sea, and land.
• Manage and maintain relationships with a network of global carriers and logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment progress, proactively address potential delays, and communicate status updates to clients and internal teams.
• Prepare and process all required shipping documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with international regulations.
• Utilize advanced dispatch and tracking software to manage the movement of goods efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during transit, ensuring minimal disruption to the supply chain.
• Process freight invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with sales, customs, and operations departments to ensure client needs are met.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of all dispatched shipments and related communications.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of dispatch processes and operational efficiency from a remote standpoint.
