Placements24 is seeking an experienced Corporate Communications Manager to lead our global messaging and stakeholder engagement. The role is fully remote within South Africa, with a focus on consistent branding and strategic storytelling to support business objectives.

You will manage media relations, internal communications, executive messaging, and CSR communications while collaborating with legal, marketing, and HR to ensure aligned communications.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communications, PR, journalism or related field.
• 7+ years in corporate communications with a track record of success.
• Strong media relations, stakeholder engagement and internal communications experience.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee all internal communications, ensuring employees are informed and engaged with company news and initiatives.
• Manage external communications, including media relations, press releases, and corporate announcements.
• Develop key messaging and talking points for executives and spokespersons.
• Monitor public perception and media coverage, proactively addressing reputational risks.
• Create engaging content for websites, social media, and internal newsletters.
• Collaborate with legal, marketing, and HR to ensure consistent communication.
• Plan and execute communication strategies for CSR initiatives.
• Manage crisis communication plans and provide leadership during sensitive situations.
