Placements24 is seeking a Corporate Communications Specialist for a fully remote role in South Africa. You will craft internal and external messaging, manage stakeholder relations, and ensure brand consistency across channels.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in corporate communications, exceptional writing and storytelling, and the ability to work independently from home. You will collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Legal to support business objectives and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or public relations.
• Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, with strong storytelling abilities.
• Proven experience in developing and executing communication strategies.
• Proficiency in creating content for diverse audiences and platforms.
• Experience with internal communication tools and platforms is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting.
• Familiarity with media relations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive corporate communication plans, including internal and external messaging.
• Write, edit, and proofread newsletters, emails, reports, presentations, and website content.
• Manage internal communication channels to keep employees informed and engaged.
• Support public relations by drafting press releases and liaising with media contacts.
• Ensure brand consistency across all corporate communications.
• Assist in strategy development for organizational changes, initiatives, and crises.
• Manage stakeholder communications including investor relations and community engagement.
• Monitor communication effectiveness and refine strategies based on feedback.
• Collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Legal.
• Maintain knowledge of communication best practices and industry trends.
