Placements24 is recruiting for a remote Full Stack Telecom Developer in South Africa. The role focuses on building and maintaining web applications and backend systems powering telecom platforms.

You will work in an agile, remote-first environment with a strong emphasis on code quality, collaboration, and delivering impactful telecom solutions. You’ll contribute across the stack, from front-end to back-end, and engage with product managers and designers to implement new features, integrate APIs,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating full stack development projects.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks.
• Strong back-end experience with Python/Django/Flask, Node.js/Express, or Java Spring.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, RESTful APIs, and Git.
• Excellent communication in a distributed, remote team.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications and services.
• Write clean, maintainable code for front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to add features.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and internal microservices.
• Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability of apps.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade existing systems; participate in code reviews.
• Document development processes and software design decisions.
• Support agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
