Placements24 is seeking a Remote Full-Stack Telecom Software Developer to join a fully remote engineering team building cloud-native platforms for modern communication services. You will design scalable backend services, build frontend UIs with React/Angular/Vue, and collaborate in an async, distributed environment.

• 5+ years in full-stack software development.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on frontend in React/Angular/Vue.js.

• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL and MongoDB/Cassandra.

Our client, a trailblazer in innovative telecommunications solutions, is seeking a talented and motivated Remote Full-Stack Telecom Software Developer to join their fully remote engineering team. This position is critical for developing and enhancing our cutting-edge, cloud-native platforms that power modern communication services. This role is based out of Tembisa, Gauteng , but operates on a fully remote basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable, high-availability backend services using languages like Go, Python, or Java.
• Build and maintain responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend systems.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of cloud-native architectures on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices in software development.
• Implement comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers in a distributed team setting.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues in production environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Proven experience developing backend services with a strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js) for frontend development.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Java, Node.js).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Familiarity with CI/CD principles and tools.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working effectively in a remote, asynchronous environment.
• A passion for telecommunications technology and a desire to solve complex problems.
