Placements24 is seeking a fully remote Full-Stack Developer skilled in React and Node.js to design, develop, and deploy robust web applications. You will work with an international team of developers, designers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software from a remote setup near Nelspruit.

You will participate in agile processes, write clean code, and contribute to API design, testing, and deployment across scalable architectures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Full-Stack Developer with React/Node.js focus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using React for the frontend and Node.js for the backend.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and maintainable code.
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Implement responsive user interfaces that provide a seamless user experience across devices.
• Collaborate with product managers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure the technical feasibility of UI designs.
• Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology stack selection.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on React and Node.js.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Extensive experience with front-end frameworks, particularly React.js and its ecosystem (Redux, Hooks, etc.).
• Strong understanding of server-side development with Node.js, Express.js, and related frameworks.
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker) is a plus.
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team.
