Job summary

Placements24 client, a globally recognized technology firm, is seeking a Remote Full-Stack Software Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. You will own end-to-end development of cloud-based applications, from UI to APIs, in a remote-first environment.

Collaborate across product and engineering teams, influence architecture, and build scalable solutions using React/Angular/Vue on the frontend and Node.js/Python/Java/Go on the backend, with Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack experience.
• Proficiency in at least one modern front-end framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Experience with back-end languages (Node.js, Python, Java, Go).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• RESTful API development experience.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
• CI/CD experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications and services, primarily focusing on cloud-based solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern front-end JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Extensive experience with back-end development languages and frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express, Python/Django/Flask, Java/Spring Boot, Go).
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their associated services.
• Experience with database technologies, including SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote team environment.
