Job summary

Hire Overseas is seeking a Full-Stack AI Engineer to build production AI systems using Claude Code as a core tool. This role blends strong full-stack engineering with hands-on AI shipping, automations, and intelligently designed workflows across both backend and frontend layers.

You will own features end-to-end, leverage Claude Code daily, and collaborate with product and engineering leadership. The position is fully remote with US business hours alignment and competitive compensation in USD.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong full-stack background.
• Claude Code fluency: you use it daily in production and it is a core part of how you engineer.
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping full-stack AI systems in production including automations, AI agents, or LLM-integrated workflows.
• Strong system design fundamentals including APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Product-oriented mindset with strong ownership and the ability to execute without heavy oversight.
• Full availability during US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services, APIs, and data models powering AI features.
• Architect clean service layers connecting AI components with application logic.
• Ensure performance, security, and long-term maintainability across the full stack.
• Develop and maintain frontend features and user-facing interfaces connected to AI systems.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into shippable systems.
• Own features from initial architecture through deployment and iteration.
