Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Manager to lead online sales strategy on a fully remote basis, supporting Upington and other markets. The role focuses on developing and executing strategies to grow online sales, optimize the customer journey, and strengthen brand presence across e-commerce platforms.

You will manage online storefronts, digital marketing efforts, and ensure a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably FMCG.
• Proven track record of growing online sales and managing e-commerce platforms.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive sales and retention.
• Manage day-to-day operations of online storefronts, including listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory.
• Oversee digital marketing initiatives: SEO, SEM, social ads, and email marketing to drive traffic and conversions.
• Analyze e-commerce data and website analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and logistics for cohesive brand experiences.
