Placements24 is seeking a Remote Automotive Data Analyst to join a remote-first team focused on fleet optimization. You will collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets related to vehicle performance, usage, and maintenance to provide actionable insights for fleet efficiency and cost reduction.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Data Analyst with automotive or fleet data.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and R.
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data from automotive sources (telematics, maintenance logs, fuel records).
• Perform complex data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in fleet operations.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize KPIs for fleet managers.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to improve fuel efficiency and reduce costs.
• Identify risks and areas for improvement in fleet operations based on data analysis.
• Collaborate with other departments to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security throughout analyses.
