Placements24 is seeking an Entry-Level Software Developer for a fully remote role with Durban roots. Ideal for a recent CS graduate or self-taught coder with solid fundamentals, you will contribute to challenging projects and learn from experienced engineers in a distributed team.

The position supports remote collaboration across South Africa, offering growth potential and opportunities to work on innovative software solutions while developing professional skills in modern tooling and practices.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of fundamental programming concepts and data structures.
• Proficiency in at least one OO language (e.g., Java, Python, C++, C#).
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Basic knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication for remote work.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and features.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
