Placements24 is seeking a remote Junior Software Developer to join a globally distributed team. You will write clean code, collaborate with senior developers, and participate in code reviews in a remote-first environment.

The role welcomes recent graduates or early-career developers based in South Africa, ideally near Rustenburg, North West, with the flexibility of remote work. You will gain experience across modern technologies, contribute to feature development, and engage in agile practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field; equivalent practical experience.
• Foundational knowledge of at least one language (Python/Java/C++/JavaScript).
• Understanding of software development principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Git or similar version control.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with time management in a remote setup.
• Passion for technology and continuous learning.

Responsibilities
