Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to lead our client’s financial operations in a fully remote capacity. This executive role oversees accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls, and drives strategic planning, budgeting, and compliance from a home office.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA or equivalent, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, 10+ years in accounting and financial management with at least 3 years in a Controller role, and proven remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting/financial management experience, with 3+ years in a Controller role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per IFRS/GAAP.
• Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets.
