Placements24 is seeking a proactive Remote Financial Accountant to support a Centurion-based operation from anywhere. You will handle end-to-end accounting remotely, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting while coordinating with cross-time-zone teams.

Ideal candidates have a CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA or similar designation, 5+ years in financial accounting, and strong Excel skills. The role offers comprehensive benefits and a fully remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• CA(SA), CIMA or ACCA designation preferred.
• 5+ years in financial accounting, with diverse industries.
• Ability to work remotely and manage workload independently.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online or Xero and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting tasks including bookkeeping, journal entries, and reconciliations remotely.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements per standards and policies.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, manage cash flow and vendor payments.
• Ensure tax compliance and assist in tax returns.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders via virtual channels.
• Develop and maintain internal controls in a remote setup.
