Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives to cover South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching accounts, identifying decision makers, and booking meetings with qualified prospects.

You will use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to execute thoughtful, high-quality outreach. This role emphasizes building the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients, with a focus on strategic outreach rather than generic

Qualifications

2 years in an SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
B2B sales experience preferred; full-cycle closers welcome.
Strong written communication and ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools: Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
