Placements24 in Durban is seeking a seasoned Curriculum Developer for FET programs to design and refine high-quality, outcomes-based curricula for vocational learners. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education, Curriculum Studies or related field.
Master's degree is advantageous.
Minimum of 6 years' experience in FET/TVET curriculum development in South Africa.
Strong knowledge of ADDIE/UbD and adult learning principles.
Thorough knowledge of SA NQF and FET/TVET policies.
Experience developing accredited qualifications and learning materials.
Excellent research, analytical and writing skills.
Proficient with e-learning authoring tools and LMS.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and remotely in a team.

Responsibilities

Design and develop curriculum frameworks for FET programs across vocational sectors.
Create lesson plans, learning activities, assessments, and teaching resources.
Ensure content aligns with SAQA guidelines and QA standards.
Collaborate with subject matter experts and industry professionals.
Review and revise curricula to stay current and effective.
Develop clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes for each module.
Create engaging online learning materials and multimedia content.
Provide guidance and support to educators implementing the curricula.
Conduct needs analyses to identify gaps and propose new curriculum development projects.
