Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Cleaner to support remote operations across multiple sites, including Mossel Bay. You will coordinate cleaning schedules, supervise on-site staff or contractors, and ensure hygiene standards are met from a remote position.

Ideal candidates have proven facilities maintenance experience and strong organizational skills to manage remote workflows, health and safety compliance, and performance reporting.

Formación

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance, cleaning supervision, or a related role.
• Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and health & safety protocols.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills for remote coordination.
• Proficiency in using digital communication tools, project management software, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to problem-solve effectively and make sound decisions remotely.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective liaison with various parties.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with Mossel Bay, Western Cape or ability to understand its operational context.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and facility upkeep.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee daily cleaning and maintenance activities at designated physical facilities.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols, ensuring consistency across sites.
• Conduct virtual inspections and reviews of cleaning performance, utilizing provided reports and feedback.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment for various sites, coordinating timely replenishment.
• Act as a remote liaison between management and on-site cleaning staff or external service providers.
• Identify and report potential facility maintenance issues, recommending appropriate solutions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards remotely.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cleaning-related challenges, escalating complex issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, supply usage, and maintenance requests.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve cleaning efficiency and effectiveness through remote management.
