Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Data Acquisition Specialist - External Data (Remote/Homebased) to define, set up and ingest external data streams for clinical trial data capture. The role involves working with central labs, ECG, imaging, biomarker and real-world data sources, ensuring compliant data transfer and mapping.

You will liaise with stakeholders to document data requirements, develop tsDTA, and perform UAT to ensure accuracy and alignment with study protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience managing data in clinical research.
• Experience with external data sources such as ECG, lab, imaging, EHR.

Responsibilities

• Execute deliverables for Standardized External Data Streams.
• Plan external data set-up to meet study start-up timelines.
• Liaise with data stakeholders to define transfer requirements.
• Create change requests for new data concepts or structures.
• Develop data transfer agreements (tsDTA) documenting study needs.
• Ensure data transfer frequencies meet defined requirements.
