Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Exploration Geoscientist to join a globally distributed team. The role focuses on identifying and evaluating new exploration opportunities using advanced geological and geophysical data from anywhere in the world.

You will work with international teams to develop subsurface models, prepare economic evaluations, and stay updated on emerging exploration technologies for the Oil & Gas sector.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Geology/Geophysics
• 7+ years of exploration geoscience experience
• Proficient in Petrel/GeoGraphix
• Strong remote communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Integrate geological, geophysical, and engineering data to identify prospect opportunities.
• Develop and maintain subsurface models for prospect evaluation.
• Collaborate remotely with international teams across disciplines.
• Prepare prospect reports, risk assessments, and economic evaluations.
