Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote E-sports Tournament Director to manage online gaming tournaments for a global audience. You will develop rules, plan events, and oversee live execution, acting as the central contact for players and staff while ensuring fair play and engaging experiences.

You will coordinate with production and streaming teams to deliver quality broadcasts, analyze data for improvements, and drive operational efficiency in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing esports tournaments or similar competitive online events.
• Deep understanding of popular esports titles and competitive scenes.
• Proficiency with esports tournament management software and platforms (e.g., Challonge, Battlefy).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks remotely.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct online esports tournaments across game titles and platforms.
• Develop and enforce tournament rules, regulations, and code of conduct.
• Manage brackets, scheduling, and live administration using relevant platforms.
• Serve as primary point of contact for players, addressing inquiries and resolving disputes.
• Coordinate with streaming and production teams to ensure high-quality broadcasts.
