Placements24 is seeking a highly motivated Remote Esports Manager to lead and scale our client's esports division. You will oversee recruitment, tournament participation, content strategy, and community engagement from anywhere, delivering strategic direction and hands-on leadership.

The role demands deep knowledge of esports titles, strong budgeting and sponsorship skills, and excellent communication to coordinate teams, sponsors, and publishers.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in esports management, team operations, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of esports titles, competitive ecosystems, and player dynamics.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, secure sponsorships, and develop strategic partnerships.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with content creation and social media management for gaming audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall strategy for the esports program, aligning with company goals.
• Recruit, manage, and support professional esports players and teams across various game titles.
• Oversee participation in online and offline tournaments, managing logistics, travel, and team performance.
• Develop and manage the esports content calendar, including live streams, social media content, and video production.
• Build and nurture relationships with game developers, publishers, sponsors, and other industry stakeholders.
• Manage the esports budget, ensuring financial accountability and seeking new revenue opportunities.
