Placements24 is seeking a highly experienced Remote Information Security Architect to design, build, and maintain security architecture for a global e-commerce leader. The role focuses on protecting digital infrastructure and customer data, with responsibility for security strategy, standards, and roadmaps.

The candidate will lead architecture reviews, implement best practices for data protection and network security, and ensure regulatory alignment across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; certifications (CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF) advantageous.
• 10+ years in information security with focus on architecture and design.
• Experience designing secure architectures for large-scale, cloud-native environments.
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security, data security, cryptography.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve the enterprise security architecture roadmap, policies, and standards.
• Design secure cloud and on-prem solutions for complex environments.
• Lead security architecture reviews with engineering and development teams.
• Define security requirements for new applications, systems, and infrastructure projects.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and incident detection systems.
