Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking Sales Development Representatives across South Africa who are eager to open doors and drive pipeline for enterprise opportunities. As part of the team, you will own the top of the funnel—researching, sourcing and booking meetings with qualified decision makers while shaping the first impression of Blacksmith Agency for potential clients.

This role emphasizes thoughtful outreach using tools like LinkedIn Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to hit volume goals

Qualifications

B2B sales experience preferred. Full-cycle closers who have carried a quota are welcome.
2 years in a similar SDR or BDR role, agency or SaaS experience a plus.
Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

Source and research ideal accounts based on our ICP.
Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
Test messaging, optimize targeting and tighten feedback loops with the sales team.
