Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join their innovative team. You will conceptualize, design, and document electrical systems for diverse projects from your home office.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical), and strong remote collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical systems design and engineering.
Proficiency in electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical).
Strong understanding of power distribution, control systems and component integration.
Experience with virtual collaboration tools and remote project management is desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills for a remote role.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed electrical system designs with schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout plans.
Select appropriate electrical components, hardware, and software based on project requirements.
Perform calculations for power distribution, load balancing, and fault analysis.
Ensure designs comply with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
Create and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs).
Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams through virtual tools.
