Placements24 in Durban is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems to meet safety, quality, and client specifications.

The role requires strong leadership and a proactive approach to coordinate with stakeholders, manage resources, and resolve technical challenges while driving project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in project management and electrical engineering.
• Experience with SCADA systems, PLCs, and industrial automation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle for electrical engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Oversee the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient project progress.
• Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation for stakeholders.
