The role involves designing automation, SCADA integration, and distributed generation interfaces, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge smart grid technologies and impactful projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on power or control systems.
• Minimum 6 years in electrical utility engineering, with smart grid experience.
• Proficiency in power system analysis software and simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of SCADA, DNP3/Modbus, and substation design.

Responsibilities

• Design grid modernization solutions including substation automation and DG integration.
• Develop detailed electrical designs, specifications, and control logic for smart grid apps.
• Analyze grid performance data and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with utilities, software/hardware vendors to ensure integration.
• Conduct simulations to assess impact of new tech on stability and performance.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
