Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Facilities Compliance Analyst to ensure adherence to SA health, safety, and environmental regulations across a diverse portfolio of facilities. The role focuses on reviewing compliance documentation, identifying risks, and recommending corrective actions while collaborating with internal stakeholders remotely.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, 5+ years in compliance/EHS, and strong data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in a compliance, auditing, or EHS role with facilities focus.
• Extensive knowledge of South African health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Experience analyzing complex data and producing clear reports.
• Proficient in remote communication and virtual collaboration.
• Strong self-management and organizational skills for a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct remote reviews of facility compliance documentation, including safety audits, risk assessments, and environmental reports.
• Analyze data to identify trends and deviations from standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop detailed reports outlining findings and actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate remotely with facility managers and operations teams to implement corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and updating company-wide compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal compliance frameworks.
• Maintain organized digital records of all compliance activities and documentation.
• Support preparation for external regulatory inspections and audits.
• Utilize compliance management software and digital tools to track progress.
