Placements24 is seeking an innovative E-commerce Social Media Strategist to join its fully remote team. You will craft and execute strategies across platforms to boost brand awareness, engagement, and online sales, translating business goals into creative campaigns from anywhere, including Mossel Bay, Western Cape, ZA.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in social media marketing for ecommerce, strong copy and visuals, and a data-driven approach to optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in social media marketing for ecommerce.
• Proven track record of driving brand awareness, engagement and sales through social.
• Strong knowledge of major platforms, ads, and analytics tools.
• Experience with scheduling tools (Sprout Social, Buffer, Later).

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with ecommerce objectives.
• Define target audiences and craft content strategies for each platform.
• Create and manage a detailed content calendar.
• Oversee paid social campaigns - audience targeting, budget management, optimization.
• Monitor trends, competitor activities, and industry best practices.
• Analyze performance metrics and deliver actionable insights.
• Collaborate with creative, product, and marketing teams.
• Engage with the community and respond to inquiries.
• Identify and manage influencer collaborations and partnerships.
• Stay updated on platform changes to maximize reach and engagement.
