Placements24 is seeking a results-driven Remote E-commerce SEO Specialist to join its growing digital marketing team. You will develop and execute SEO strategies for ecommerce platforms, including on-page optimization, technical audits, link building, and content planning.

The role requires strong data analysis and hands-on use of GA, GSC, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and CMS like WordPress, Shopify or Magento. This remote position offers flexibility and measurable SEO impact.

• Proven experience in SEO, with strong focus on ecommerce.
• Strong on-page, off-page and technical SEO knowledge.
• Experience with keyword research and competitor analysis.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, Magento) and basic HTML/CSS/JS.

Responsabilidades

About the Role

This role is critical for enhancing organic search visibility, driving qualified traffic, and increasing online sales for our e-commerce platforms. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive SEO strategies, including on-page optimization, technical SEO audits, link building, and content strategy. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, a passion for data analysis, and a proven ability to deliver measurable SEO improvements in an e-commerce context. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies tailored for e-commerce websites to improve organic search rankings and traffic.
• Conduct in-depth keyword research and analysis to identify target keywords and opportunities for content creation and optimization.
• Perform regular technical SEO audits to identify and resolve issues related to site speed, mobile-friendliness, crawlability, and indexability.
• Optimize website content, product pages, and category pages for relevant keywords and search intent.
• Develop and execute a strategic link-building plan to enhance website authority and domain rating.
• Monitor SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc., and provide regular reports on key metrics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, adapting strategies accordingly.
• Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital initiatives.
• Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.
• Drive conversion rate optimization (CRO) efforts through SEO insights and recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist, with a strong focus on e-commerce websites.
• In-depth knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO principles and best practices.
• Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar.
• Experience with keyword research tools and competitor analysis.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
