Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced E-commerce Platform Specialist for a fully remote role. You will manage and optimize the company’s online store ecosystem across platforms such as Shopify Plus, Magento and BigCommerce, collaborating with development, marketing, and operations teams.

You’ll troubleshoot, improve performance, and ensure security and API integrations while driving UX and conversion improvements in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing online stores as an E-commerce Platform Specialist or Webmaster.
• Deep knowledge of major platforms (Shopify Plus, Magento, BigCommerce).
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and basic backend concepts.
• Strong site performance optimization and SEO fundamentals.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the e-commerce platform configurations and integrations.
• Collaborate with development, marketing and operations to roll out new features.
• Improve performance, responsiveness and mobile optimization.
• Ensure security, compliance and seamless integrations with systems.
• Troubleshoot issues related to catalog, checkout, and APIs.
• Analyze user behaviour to drive UX and conversion improvements.
