Placements24 is seeking a data-driven Remote E-commerce Merchandising Specialist to curate and optimize product assortments across global e-commerce platforms. You will drive online sales, enhance brand presence, and ensure a seamless shopping experience from anywhere.

You will analyze sales and traffic data, collaborate with marketing and web development teams, and implement merchandising strategies, promotions, and cross-sell initiatives while maintaining product catalog accuracy and timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in e-commerce merchandising or similar.
• Proven experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and merchandising tools.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
• Excellent understanding of online consumer behavior and digital marketing principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute online merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales conversion.
• Manage product catalog data including descriptions, images, pricing, and categorization.
• Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify trends and opportunities.
• Plan and implement product placement, promotions, and cross-selling/upselling initiatives.
• Conduct competitor analysis to stay ahead of market trends.
• Collaborate with marketing to align merchandising with campaigns.
• Work with web development to implement features and ensure site performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain for product availability.
• Generate regular reports on merchandising performance and insights.
• Stay updated on e-commerce best practices and tools.
