Placements24 is seeking a creative Remote E-commerce Marketing Coordinator to drive online sales and brand visibility across channels. You will coordinate digital campaigns, manage social media, and schedule email marketing initiatives to promote products in South Africa.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in digital marketing, familiarity with Mailchimp, and a solid grasp of analytics; SEO knowledge is a plus. This remote position offers autonomy and growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of digital marketing/e-commerce experience.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
• Experience with email marketing tools (Mailchimp) and basic analytics.
• Understanding of SEO/SEM is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work remotely and autonomously from SA.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and paid channels.
• Assist in managing social media presence: content creation and engagement.
• Develop and schedule email campaigns to promote products and drive sales.
• Support paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social ads).
• Monitor campaigns and report on traffic, conversions, and ROI.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
• Collaborate with content teams to align marketing materials with brand guidelines.
• Update website content and product listings to support campaigns.
• Analyze website traffic and user behavior to optimise the customer journey.
