Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Dispatch Coordinator to manage delivery operations from a home office. You will schedule routes, monitor drivers in real time, and resolve issues to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries using dispatch software and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule delivery routes for drivers, optimizing for efficiency and timeliness.
• Monitor driver progress in real-time using dispatch software and GPS.
• Communicate updates to drivers, address issues, and provide support during shifts.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding delivery status and resolve issues.
• Manage dispatching of new orders and allocate resources efficiently.
• Track KPIs for delivery performance and record dispatch activities.
• Collaborate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Identify bottlenecks and suggest process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to policies and safety guidelines by drivers.
