Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Dispatch Coordinator to manage logistics operations from anywhere, supporting a wide network with reliable internet access and a proactive approach to problem solving.

In this remote role you will coordinate daily dispatch activities, optimize routing, communicate with drivers and clients via phone, email and dispatch software, and monitor real-time vehicle locations to keep deliveries on schedule.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or a related role within the transportation sector.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage remote teams effectively.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and standard office applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, informed decisions.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily dispatch activities for a fleet of vehicles, ensuring optimal routing and scheduling.
• Communicate with drivers via phone, email, and dispatch software to provide instructions and updates.
• Monitor driver progress and vehicle locations in real-time using tracking systems.
• Respond promptly to delays or vehicle issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of dispatches, deliveries, and driver performance.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to provide updates and address inquiries about shipments.
