Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Management Consultant with expertise in Digital Strategy and Innovation to join a fully remote team supporting clients across South Africa. The role focuses on harnessing digital technologies to drive innovation, transform business models, and improve competitive advantage.

You will identify opportunities, develop roadmaps, and guide digital implementations from a remote hub serving the Northern Cape region including Upington.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a relevant field.
• 5–7 years' experience in digital strategy or innovation consulting.
• Proven track record of developing successful digital strategies and innovation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of digital technologies, platforms, and business models.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent virtual communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing complex projects and leading remote teams.
• Familiarity with design thinking and agile development methods.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients' digital maturity and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
• Develop comprehensive digital strategies and roadmaps including business model innovation.
• Analyze emerging technologies and their business applications.
• Facilitate virtual ideation sessions and workshops with client teams.
• Develop business cases and investment proposals for digital transformation.
• Design and pilot new digital products and services with clients.
• Guide adoption of agile methodologies and innovation culture.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on digital trends and recommendations.
• Manage project timelines and deliverables in a remote setting.

Education

Master's degree in Business, Technology Management, Innovation Management, or related field
