Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Digital Media Strategist in South Africa to lead digital presence and engagement. You will craft data-driven campaigns across SEO/SEM, social, content, and programmatic channels from a home office.

You will leverage analytics and market insights to optimise performance, collaborate with marketing and product teams, and guide execution in a distributed environment for national and international reach.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Digital Media Strategist or similar role.
• Strong SEO, SEM, content and social media marketing knowledge.
• Proficient with analytics tools and ad platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects remotely.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media or related field.
• Experience with A/B testing and CRO.
• Familiarity with marketing automation is a plus.
• Must be based in and eligible to work in South Africa.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive digital media strategies.
• Oversee paid and organic campaigns across Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more.
• Conduct keyword research and SEO analysis to improve rankings.
