Placements24 seeks a highly skilled Remote Media Strategist to design, implement and manage data-driven media strategies for national and international visibility. The role is remote with a focus on George, Western Cape, ZA, and surrounding regions, requiring strong planning and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive narrative development, oversee content across multiple channels, analyze results, and optimize campaigns while managing budgets.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 7+ years in media strategy or PR with strong strategic planning experience.
• Proven track record of data-driven media campaigns with measurable results.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Extensive experience building relationships with media professionals globally and locally.
• Proficiency with media monitoring, analytics, and reporting tools (Meltwater, Cision, Google Analytics).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and content strategy.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
