Placements24 is seeking a proactive Digital Marketing & PR Coordinator to join a globally distributed, remote-first team. You will drive digital campaigns, craft engaging content, and manage social channels to grow brand presence and community engagement from Durban.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years in digital marketing or PR, with strong SEO/SEM and analytics skills, plus excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing or PR focusing on online channels.
• Proficiency with social media management tools and content creation platforms.
• Solid understanding of SEO/SEM principles and digital analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to online communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, and social media campaigns.
• Create and publish content for blogs, social media, and website updates.
• Monitor and engage with online communities and respond to social media inquiries promptly.
• Assist in developing and implementing PR campaigns targeting online media and influencers.
• Analyze website traffic and social media performance data to optimize campaigns.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to ensure cohesive messaging across all digital channels.
