Placements24 is seeking a Remote DevSecOps Engineer to join a fast-paced SaaS team. You will build secure CI/CD pipelines, automate security testing, and enforce security controls across cloud platforms. The role emphasizes collaboration with developers and operations in a remote-first environment.

You will implement IaC with a security focus, stay current on tools and threats, and help secure software offerings from anywhere. This is a fully remote, distributed team position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering.
• Experience in DevSecOps with security integrated into SDLC.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools and cloud security services.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
• Automate security testing (SAST, DAST, SCA) within development workflows.
• Implement and manage security controls for cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code with a security focus (Terraform, Ansible).
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security practices.
• Conduct security reviews of code and infrastructure configurations.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to vulnerabilities in production.
• Manage secrets and access control within development and production environments.
