Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to open doors and drive pipeline across South Africa. You will own the top of the funnel by researching, sourcing, and booking meetings with qualified decision makers, while presenting Blacksmith Agency to potential clients.

You will use LinkedIn Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and Salesforce to execute thoughtful outreach and achieve volume goals with high-quality touches.

Qualifications

• 2 years in SDR/BDR role or similar
• Strong written communication skills
• Ability to personalize outreach at scale
• Familiarity with outbound tools (Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo, ZoomInfo)
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
