Job summary

Blacksmith Agency LLC is seeking motivated Sales Development Representatives to join our team across South Africa. You will own top-of-funnel outreach, researching target accounts, sourcing contacts, and booking discovery meetings with qualified decision-makers.

Responsibilities include crafting personalized sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone, maintaining clean Salesforce and SalesLoft records, and collaborating with Account Executives to drive pipeline. Remote-friendly role within SA.

Qualifications

• 2 years in a similar SDR/BDR role, agency or SaaS experience preferred.
• Strong written communication and the ability to personalize outreach.
• Familiarity with outbound tools like Sales Navigator, SalesLoft, Apollo and ZoomInfo.
• Comfortable using Salesforce and managing your own pipeline.
• Gritty, curious and coachable.

Responsibilities

• Source and research ideal accounts based on ICP.
• Identify decision makers and build accurate contact lists.
• Craft and execute personalized outbound sequences via email, LinkedIn and phone.
• Book qualified discovery calls for our Account Executives.
• Maintain clean records in Salesforce and SalesLoft.
• Test messaging and optimize targeting with the sales team.
