Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a talented DeFi Protocol Developer to join a fully remote team. You will design, build, and deploy next-generation DeFi protocols, with a focus on security and efficiency across on-chain and off-chain components.

Work closely with product and research teams to define new features, optimize protocol logic, and stay ahead of security best practices in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in smart contract development with a strong DeFi portfolio.
• Proficiency in Solidity and Ethereum ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of DeFi concepts including AMMs, yield farming, staking, tokenomics.
• Experience with libraries and tools such as Web3.js, Ethers.js, Hardhat or Truffle.
• Strong analytical skills and focus on security and financial logic.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement secure and efficient smart contracts for DeFi protocols (lending, borrowing, exchanges, derivatives).
• Architect and build on-chain and off-chain components of DeFi applications.
• Conduct thorough testing, security audits, and optimizations of smart contracts and protocol logic.
• Collaborate with product and research teams to define new DeFi features and strategies.
• Stay updated on trends, innovations, and security best practices in DeFi.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to protocol performance and smart contract functionality.
